چکیده
This work presents an experimental study of the dynamic performance a CO2 water-to-water heat pump in domestic hot water production system. A facility was developed and used to characterize time evolution COP this pump, heating stratification processes hot-water storage tank, global Results showed that, when strategies based on promoting reach Ri ?40, such as use vertical tank filling velocities v ? 10-4 m·s?1 with low flow rates between gas cooler, permits increase ?12.4% system reduction ?16% compressor energy consumption compared other strategies. However, considering higher (i.e. ?1) thermal available (?6% rate increases factor 3.6) but enhance mixing extend which reduces Besides, evaporator inlet temperature from 5 °C 20 by 59% ?40%.

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
Investigating the effect of hot water consumption profile on the performance of solar water heating systems
In this paper, a forced circulation solar water heater system is simulated for different hot water consumption profiles using flat plate collectors as well as evacuated tube collectors. The profiles studied are the actual samples of hot water consumption profiles for different commercial centers and institutions. Dynamic simulation outputs of system thermal performance are used as economic anal...
متن کاملExperimental Study on the Performance of Water Source Trans-Critical CO2 Heat Pump Water Heater
The effect of the discharge pressure on the performance of the trans-critical CO2 heat pump with a low gas-cooler outlet temperature is experimentally investigated on a test rig of water source heat-pump water heater. The optimal discharge pressure of the trans-critical CO2 heat pump is investigated under different external operation conditions. When the tap-water temperature is low, the charac...

This paper presents the experimental as well as the simulated performance studies on the transcritical CO2 heat pumps for simultaneous water cooling and heating; effects of water mass flow rates and water inlet temperatures of both evaporator and gas cooler on the cooling and heating capacities, system COP and water outlets temperatures are investigated. Study shows that both the water mass flo...
متن کاملCFD Modelling of an Underground Water Tank Heat Storage System
In this work, CFD is used to simulate the flow in an existing thermal labyrinth located at the basement of a hospital building. This labyrinth is an underground channel equipped with water tanks to increase the thermal mass and reduce the heating and cooling demand of the building. Thermal energy storage in the water tanks is a complex heat transfer phenomena involving turbulent forced convecti...
